English Learning
- Games, songs, and shared reading and writing introduce first and second grade students to a variety of English language forms in a natural, enjoyable environment.
- In third and fourth grade students begin to use their nascent English skills to create their own short fiction, conversation skits, and topic-based presentations.
- By fifth and sixth grade students have acquired enough English language abilities to delve deeper into thematic units involving cross-curricular elements.
- Through use of various centers (listening center, reading center, computer center, print center and game center) all students learn English.

As a goal for graduation, students aim to pass the English proficiency exam and kanji proficiency exam (4th and 5th levels). Students participate in English classes for six years.

Throughout the year students experience planting a nursery, rice planting through to harvesting and learn the importance of laboring in a rich natural environment.
